Women Who Require Egg Donation
Typically women who require egg donation are:

·        Women who cannot provide their own eggs due to advanced maternal age. (As a woman’s age increases, her ability to get pregnant decreases dramatically over the age of 35.)

·        Women with decreased ovarian reserve due premature ovarian failure. Women who chronologically are young but their ovaries, for a variety of reasons, have entered menopause at an early age.

·        Women who have regular periods but whose eggs (oocytes) are unable to produce a pregnancy.

·        Women who have had their ovaries removed or whose ovaries were damaged by chemotherapy or radiation; or who were born without functioning ovaries; or who have poorly functioning ovaries.

·        Women who are diagnosed with anti-ovarian antibodies and have had previous IVF failures.

·        Women who have a history of an inadequate response to fertility drugs.

·        Women who have genetic reasons for not using their own eggs.
